Mar 26, 2024An Estonian technology company Cleveron has unveiled Cleveron 354, a battery-powered outdoor parcel locker that is easily scalable to expand the fully automated delivery locations network.
Last-mile deliveries are one of the major effectors of heavy traffic of commercial vehicles in the whole city area. In recent years, parcel lockers have become a popular and essential solution for reducing traffic and increasing cargo compartment utilization. Parcel lockers concentrate deliveries and make them more independent of available time slots.
“Our projections show that within a decade, 80% of last-mile deliveries in Europe will be conducted via parcel lockers, which will emerge as the preferred method among end customers,” said Arti Kütt, CEO of Cleveron, who is confident of the increasing demand for parcel lockers as a sustainable and cost-effective solution for last-mile deliveries.

The Cleveron 354 has 24/7 online capabilities and boasts a significantly smaller CO2 lifetime footprint, approximately 20 times smaller than traditional grid-powered lockers.
Cleveron’s battery-powered parcel locker is designed with user-friendliness in mind, enabling customers to retrieve their parcels by entering a code on the PIN pad, eliminating the need for a dedicated mobile application. The locker operator receives real-time updates about their parcel lockers ensuring continuous monitoring.
The company ensures the Cleveron 354 allows companies to expand the independent last-mile delivery network and optimize operations for efficient parcel management. Cleveron 354 has 12, 16, 20 & 24-slot modules with different slot sizes and amounts to meet business needs.
