Ace Hardware on Morgan Avenue will be hosting a Flavor Fest Labor Day BBQ Party on Saturday, Sept. 2 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Stop by for snacks and samples, demonstrations, deals and family activities.

Cousins Maine Lobster will be returning to Myriad Brewing Company in Downtown Evansville on Friday, Sept. 1, from 12-8 p.m. and to the Myriad Newburgh taproom on Saturday, Sept 2, from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. While you visit, enjoy crab rolls, crab macaroni and cheese, chowder and more.

Ghost Quesadilla and Ghost Bar in Newburgh are under new ownership and are now open once more. The restaurant announced its closure recently, but a post was quickly made announcing new ownership and it reopened on Saturday, Aug. 26, with a slimmed-down menu of Ghost Quesadilla favorites. The spot will be re-branded to Neighbors Bar and Restaurant in upcoming weeks. We'll keep you updated on details.

Kentucky Living Magazine awarded three Henderson county businesses third place in its food and beverage division this year − Antler Specialty Goods at 212 N. Main St. in the coffee division; the Farmer & Frenchman at 12522 U.S. 41 South in wineries; and the Henderson Brewing Co. in craft beer.

The Liquor Locker on East Morgan Avenue will be hosting a Customer Appreciation Day on Friday, Sept. 1, from 3-6 p.m. Stop by for tastings of Ole Smoky Moonshine products, hamburgers and hot dogs, swag and giveaways.

The Newburgh Lodge F&AM #174 will host an all you can eat breakfast on Saturday, Sept 2, from 7-10 a.m. On the menu are made from scratch sausage gravy, fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and fresh baked biscuits. Adults eat for $10, kids 12 and under for $5. The event is open to the public and will be the lodge's last breakfast of the year.

The Newburgh Lodge F&AM No. 174 is at 720 Filmore St., Newburgh, Indiana.

Taste Buds food truck will soon be serving on the streets of Evansville and has released a menu. All sandwiches are $9. Chips or cookies may be purchased on the side.

Sandwich varieties will include a classic Indiana on-the-bun stromboli with crumbled sausage, sauce and cheese; a Texas version with BBQ sauce; a hot ham and cheese, a teriyaki chicken with mozzarella cheese, the Hot Chick with diced chicken and mozzarella, and a Chopped Cheese with ground beef, American cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and buffalo sauce.

Trunnell's Farm Market will host Dinner in the Blooms on Saturday, Sept 2, and Saturday, Sept. 9. The experience will include a wagon ride around a sunflower field with 65-plus varieties of blooms, sunflower trails, a cut blossom, a cocktail, appetizers, and a farm-to-table dinner of rib-eye steak or marinated chicken breast, creamed sweet corn, scalloped potatoes, green beans and dinner rolls.

There will be live entertainment, bonfires and fun.

Tickets are $79 per person plus online purchase fees. A VIP ticket, which gets the participant a bucket of blooms, a t-shirt and two additional drinks from the farm bar are $119.
